Just a quick rant-
Right and Wrong still exists. It's not all shades of grey or a matter of perspective.
You don't have to be a Christian, or religious in any way to see this as obvious.

Riddle Me This...
Watching all the high school kid organized, completely grass roots, organic, not backed at all by national anti-gun lobbies run by middle aged billionaires, protests stemming from the Parkland Fl. school shootings has raised a very basic question and reveals some very flawed logic from the gun grabbing left.
One of the demands for increased gun control from the screeching crowd is to raise the minimum age to purchase and/or own a firearm to 21. This, presumably will make us safer. But why exactly?
Let's examine further. Raising the age to 21 would suggest that those under 21 are not mature enough to responsibly own a gun. But, the ones supposedly demanding this change are high school age kids?
Hmmm... So what they're saying here is basically, "We're too immature to own guns, but we're mature enough to shape public policy on guns."
Some are even calling for the voting age to be lowered to 16- because these kids are "so wise and should have a voice".
Does this glaring chasm in logic bother anyone else?
Under 21- responsible enough to-
But not responsible enough to-
Of course the Democrats are all for this. Anything for more Dem votes, damn the social cost.

Under 21- responsible enough to-
- Vote at 16.
- Drive at 16.
- Live on your own at 18 (or less if you have emancipated minor status).
- Enter into legally binding contracts.
- Get married.
- Serve in the military at 18 and be trusted with full auto rifles (real assault rifles), tanks, grenade launchers, etc.
But not responsible enough to-
- Own a rifle, shotgun, or pistol.
- Have a beer.
- Smoke a joint (if legal in your state).
Of course the Democrats are all for this. Anything for more Dem votes, damn the social cost.

How To End Illegal Immigration Once And For All In The U.S.
With today's news of the death of Indianapolis Colts player Edwin Jackson by a drunk driver who was in the country illegally (twice deported already), it got me thinking about what we need to do to stop illegal immigration.
First- Do what's been widely proposed by Trump and the conservatives- Build The Wall.
When I say Build The Wall, I mean build a common sense southern border. Build physical barriers where needed and feasible and use other means where it makes more sense. Increase border patrol resources- support these good people! Stop as many as you can before they physically enter the country.
Second- Vet visa applicants and restrict visas for high risk countries. It's not racist to want to keep high risk people out. Period.
Increase enforcement of visa over-stays. Track them down. This is currently not being done.

The Deep State Needs To Be Exposed
The "Deep State" is very real, and it needs to be exposed before it takes down our country.
The video below is just an example. This is not only an explicit threat from Sen. Chuck Schumer to President Trump, it's an open admission that there is indeed a Deep State, and they truly think they are the ones in charge:
The left, under the leadership of people like Schumer, Pelosi, Schiff and Obama have built the Deep State over decades of careful appointments and pressure on government agencies to promote people who are down with the cause and hold back those who potentially may be a problem.
They have stacked the circuit courts like the 9th district with liberal judges who make insane rulings based entirely on partisan political ideology and ignoring the law. They have promoted their soldiers to high positions in the FBI, IRS, State Dept., DOJ, etc. who will do their bidding.
They are playing the long game. The idea is presidents come and go every 4-8 years, but they are there for decades. Anyone who makes too many waves can be dealt with- as witness by the threat from Schumer in this video.
The Deep State needs to be exposed and destroyed or we can no longer claim to have a democracy.

The Victim Card
Fact: Having been a victim at one point in your past does not make you a victim in perpetuity. It doesn't make you immune from being called out on your hypocrisy for your actions (or inaction) now.
If members or your race, gender, or ethnicity are now or have ever been legitimately victimized, but you personally have not, you cannot play the victim card by extension.

What The "Border Baby" Really Says About Mexico
![]() |
Hey, Mexico Sucks! Let me in por favor! Oh, and Viva Mexico! |
Well it got me thinking about the whole immigration issue with Mexico including DACA, anchor babies, etc.
It seems to me that the argument- if you can call it that- from the left basically boils down to: Mexican citizens should be able to work here, send money back home, no documentation or controls. After all, they "do the jobs American's refuse to do" right?
They should also be able to stay here as long as they want, send their kids to American schools (at American taxpayer expense). They should be eligible for welfare and Medicaid (also at American taxpayer expense). No need to worry about becoming citizens, or even registering as resident aliens under a visa system. Just come and go as you please.
Also, there should be no requirement or even expectation for any sort of assimilation. No need to learn English of course, we'll pander to them in Spanish. Anything else would be considered bigoted and xenophobic.
Perhaps most importantly, they should be allowed to vote. After all, they live here and work here, so logic dictates they should vote (for Democrats of course).
Basically, come and go as you please. Use America's resources as you wish. Contribute if you wish. Just make sure to vote.
The attitude from many Mexicans seems a bit more clear and simple- "Let me in because Mexico is a dangerous shit-hole with a terrible economy, crumbling infrastructure, and tenuous rule of law that can't support or protect it's citizens."
Then once in the U.S. the sense of entitlement takes over and it's pretty much "Fuck you Gringo! There are millions of us here. It's our country now. Oh, and Viva Mexico!"
9/17/17
Viva Mexico!
So yesterday (Sept 16th) was Mexico's independence day. All over the United States there were parades and public celebrations full of Mexican expatriates waving Mexican flags and loudly proclaiming "Viva Mexico!" at the tops of their lungs. Much Bud Light was consumed.
There were also coordinated protests against President Trump and his (sort of) ending of DACA- the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program started by President Obama.
Former Mexican Presidente Vicente Fox even took the opportunity for yet another rant against Trump for treating so badly the millions of his people who had to leave the wonderful, just, and kind country he ran for our cruel, racist, xenophobic, Nazi run hell hole in America to be our brown minimum wage slaves.

Viva Mexico! Green Cards For Everyone! |
Every year during Mexico Independence day and Cinco de Mayo when Mexican citizens (some here legally and others not) choose to celebrate their "great" homeland on American soil, I can't help but think about the fact that if Mexico is so wonderful, why do millions of it's citizens feel the need to leave it for the U.S.A.?
The answer of course is obvious. It just seems silly and incredibly disrespectful to their adopted country that our politicians continue to tell us they love and want to make their home. Doesn't it?

Has any American President ever been treated with such disrespect?
Yesterday I was searching Amazon for a gift for my mom. I was using the search term "gift for a woman" and this came up in the results:
Yes, it is a Trump "pencil holder" and yes, the pencil is stuck up his ass!
OK, so let me preface this rant by stating my current feelings on Donald Trump. I'm not a fanboy. I voted for Trump but was never "on the Trump Train" as they say. I voted for Trump because the alternative was truly unthinkable.
So far Trump has mainly let me down as far as the expectations I had going in. His attitude and seeming inability to let the small shit go has hurt him terribly IMO. However he has accomplished some good things- getting a conservative SCOTUS appointment approved is at the top in my opinion and was the key reason I voted for him.
Basically, I support President Trump and really want him to succeed for the good of the country. I don't see how wanting him to fail benefits anyone in our society. I'm not going to blindly defend him like some do. If he fucks up, I'll call him on it.
When I see something as absurd as this "gag gift" it really makes me angry though. I mean, the level of disrespect towards Trump is just off the charts. It triggers my sense of fair play, and this is way over the edge in political humor. This is just another example of how the anti-Trump crowd has totally lost their fucking minds.
I sent a couple Tweets to Amazon about this asking sarcastically- "I can't seem to find the Obama with a pencil up his ass figurine. Can you help me?" But I've received no response.
Although Amazon is not the seller of this product, they do stock it in their warehouses and distribute it. In my opinion this needs to be pulled and products screened more carefully. This is outrageous.

Fast Food Employees Closer To Extinction (Fight For $15)
Remember the good old days when a job at a fast food restaurant was an entry to the working world, not a final destination?
Remember when the fast food joints were staffed by eager fresh faced high school kids earning their first paychecks and gaining valuable work experience? OK, so maybe they weren't all that eager to be there, but they knew it was just "paying your dues" before moving onward and upward to a real career.
Today's reality is that your average fast food employee is more likely to be older, foreign born, uneducated, unmotivated, and harboring a great deal of resentment at having to work for a living in the land of plenty.
This sense of entitlement and lack of ambition has led to the "workers of the world, unite!" socialist attitude that spawned the "fight for $15" movement for a so called living wage for minimum wage employees.
The marketplace, as it always does however, is adapting to the rising labor costs and lowering labor quality by moving steadily toward automation.
For example I saw this today: Hamburger-making robot company raises $18 million
From the article: "Founded in 2009, Momentum Machines is developing food-preparing robots, the first one of which supposedly can prep hundreds of made-to-order hamburgers in an hour ― from raw ingredients to packaging. In other words, it might be the future of fast-food prep work."
The next time you're at Burger King and the person taking your order can barely speak English, and you get your Whopper looking like some gorilla was playing soccer with it, just remember things will change soon.

Some Unsolicited Advice To President Trump
I'm watching my Twitter feed this morning and I'm seeing all the fallout over Meryl Streep who used her acceptance speech at the Golden Globe Awards last night as a soap box to bash Donald Trump. Soon after, PEOTUS Trump took to twitter and issued a tweet insulting Meryl Streep.
By now we all know that Trump is very thin skinned regarding criticism, especially what he considers "unfair attacks" on him. He uses Twitter as his outlet for his retorts. If you're famous enough and you insult Trump, you'll get a personal reply.
I think that's a problem. He's going to be the President Of The United States for God's sake. He should at least act like he has some class.
So, here's my advice:
Mr. President
In my opinion, the best response you can give to all the idiots and assholes out there who criticize, insult, and bait you is to just concentrate on the job at hand. Be a great President. Get the country back on track again. Get illegal immigration under control. Fight terrorism effectively. Get the economy rolling again.
In short, the best way to shut these people up is to put down the smartphone and prove them wrong by actually making America great again.

Why The "Fight For $15" Is Idiotic And Self Defeating.
I was watching the news this evening and I saw the story of airport baggage handlers in Chicago who are striking to raise the minimum wage to $15 per hour. Apparently most baggage handlers make minimum wage which is around $10 in Chicago.
This strike in Chicago is just the latest in a nation wide movement to establish a national minimum wage of $15 per hour.
The main supporting arguments I hear from mostly liberal pundits on news programs seem to revolve around the assumption that people with minimum wage jobs are somehow trapped in those jobs and deserve to earn what they call a "living wage". They say things like you can't pay the rent, own a decent car, or raise a family on minimum wage. My immediate reaction to this is "Well yeah, no shit! It's MINIMUM wage, moron!"
I have to ask, who told these people that minimum wage jobs were a career path? Who is telling the this is the best they can do in our society? This is the best you're gonna do, so make the best of it.
Minimum wage jobs, for the most part, are meant to be stepping stones- the first rung on the ladder up. They are meant for people with few or no skills to gain work experience, learn new skills, prove you can show up on time and be a good employee. Then logically, you move up and on to new and better things. That's why they are often referred to as "entry level jobs".
Of course there are some people who just don't have the capacity (mental, physical, emotional) to move beyond these jobs, but those are the very few. Most can and should view these jobs as paying your dues, so to speak. A place where you start building your resume.
But somehow in our society many people seem to have lost ambition. They just want to go to work at a job that isn't very demanding physically or mentally, put in their 8 hours and go home to watch TV, play video games, get high, and wait for their lottery numbers to hit. They have come to see these entry level jobs as their lot in life. They can't get rich being a superstar athlete or musician, so may as well just put it in neutral and coast down the hill.
As the entitlement mentality gains stronger hold over our younger generations, those in these "McJobs" fall for the notion that the government should be responsible for ensuring their economic prosperity through minimum wages. The attitude is "Well I work. I'm not a bum on welfare. So, I should have all the things I want." Somehow $15 an hour has been settled upon as the answer to all their problems.
The truth is $15 an hour for most of these entry level jobs is just not reasonable to expect.
First of all, the free market should be the main determinant of wages. Society places a natural value on certain work. All jobs are not the same. They don't require the same skill set, experience level, or ability.
Also, a single national minimum wage does not take into account the wide variation in the cost of living and local economies around the country. For example, $15 an hour for someone in Manhattan or San Francisco is chump change, while for someone in rural Tennessee it may be higher than the prevailing wage for highly skilled positions like nurses and teachers. One size does not fit all.
By setting a minimum wage, you screw with the natural balance of the free market and incur many unintended consequences.
Minimum wage laws actually end up screwing many members of society. Young people for example.
Youth unemployment is at record highs. Kids in high school who want jobs can't find them. The traditional entry level jobs in fast food, retail, etc. are being filled by adults who have settled for these jobs because in part, the minimum wage is just enough to attract them.
Employers offering these jobs will naturally give them to older people who have been proven to be more reliable versus a kid with no employment history. Since they have to pay more than the market would naturally dictate, employers will go with the less risky option of an older person. They will also hire those who they think will work harder for less. That means immigrants- both legal and illegal. So, it's not only kids getting screwed, but also native born Americans who have the attitude that their labor is worth more than it is.
Some unintended consequences- more unemployed young people with too much time on their hands and no money= increased crime, increased numbers on the welfare roles. Also, more young people will feel the need to pursue higher education levels to increase their employment potential. Less young people will gain the job experience they need to move into skilled labor and trades creating a shortage of people who can compete in those 'blue collar' jobs. More young people graduating from colleges create a glut of over educated young people competing for a limited number of entry level 'white collar' jobs resulting in even more unemployed with many also saddled with crippling student loan debt.
Another consideration is that when faced with rising labor costs, employers will undoubtedly look to reduce those costs through automation and increased efficiency- eliminating positions wherever possible. Just look around and you'll see many examples of this. Computers and robots don't need health insurance, vacations, lunch breaks, or workman's comp coverage. The result is those who do still have jobs will be expected to do more for their pay.
To a certain extent, those pushing for an increased minimum wage are pricing themselves out of a job.

The Colin Kaepernick Contorversey - My Two Cents
I'm not going to go too in depth here as I don't think Colin Kaepernick is worth that much of my time. I just want to make a few points.
First is that Colin Kaepernick has every right under our First Amendment to say what he wants and protest as he wishes. Apparently the NFL has no problem with his sit down protest, it's not against their rules, and it sounds like the SF 49er's are OK with it as well. They issued a statement saying so. Also, Kaepernick is not alone in his feelings. Lots of other (mainly Black) NFL players have come out in support of him.
That all said, I personally think Colin Kaepernick is an ignoramus and a world class asshole. His whole protest is based on a false premise, the widely discredited assumption that the police forces in America are full of overtly racist officers who are hunting down young Black men in the streets and assassinating them with impunity. This is absolute nonsense that has been repeated so often by the media and Black community leaders that a large number of the Black (and white) community believe it to be true. Colin Kaepernick is possibly stupid, but definitely ignorant if he believes it.
As for his choice to protest over what he believes, as I said, he definitely has that right. But the choices we make have consequences. By protesting in the manner he has chosen and the anti patriotic statements he has made, he has insulted a large portion of the population. He seems to know this and simply does not care.
In my opinion, I think the answer is simple. If Kaepernick has offended you, take action by not supporting him. Don't go to 49er's games as long as he is on the team. Don't buy 49er's merchandise. Don't patronize anyone who sponsors him. He will go away and fade into oblivion soon enough. He's a sub par quarterback who the 49er's couldn't even trade off over the summer. He's simply not worth any more time or media attention.

Colin Kaepernick and his adopted parents |
Just one more personal note- Colin Kaepernick is mixed race. His biological mother is white and his father is black. His father just split before he was born like too many Black men do after they father a child. His mother gave him up for adoption as she was only 19 at the time. He was adopted into a middle class white family ad raised in a loving home among whites in white neighborhoods and white schools. He's taken those opportunities and made himself millions. Now Colin talks about 'his people' and 'The Struggle'. He rails against the injustices against Black people 'like him'. He is a disrespectful hypocrite- a self absorbed man-child not deserving of a fraction of the attention he's getting.

America- Land Of The Squeaky Wheel
For those of you who may not be aware, "squeaky wheel" is derived from the saying "The squeaky wheel gets the grease." If you really are not too bright I'll explain that to you too- the saying means that those who complain get attention.
In my opinion, America has become the land of the squeaky wheel.
Think about it. Everyone here bitches constantly, on a individual level and more importantly in groups. Why? Because technology has allowed anyone to have voice with a potentially world-wide reach. I have a blog that nobody reads (a couple of them actually). Anyone can post a video that can potentially reach hundreds of millions on YouTube. Anyone can send a message directly to the most powerful people in the world via Twitter and email, and actually get a response from them. People bitching loudly in groups can get even more attention. Our video and sound bite obsessed press is all too willing to put a camera and microphone in front of any group of more than 3 people with a crudely made sign and a well worn chant.
"What do we want? ( insert cause here ), When do we want it? NOW!"
"No ( insert call for government action to correct a poorly articulated perceived social inequity here ), No Peace!"
The biggest goal of any group of professional whiners is to have a major party elected official or candidate to champion your cause publicly. The Democrats pander to groups like Black Lives Matter, La Raza, Occupy Wall Street, Code Pink, and the like, while the Republicans pander to Evangelical Christians, Pro Life, and Pro 2nd Amendment groups.
One of the newest squeaky wheel groups is one that Donald Trump is responsible for empowering- The Working Class White Male. They have been totally ignored in the past, but their support this election cycle has elevated Trump to the Republican presidential nomination.
The Working Class White Male squeaky wheel demonstrates the power of relatively small special interest groups to exert political influence far beyond their numbers. Like Blacks, who despite making up only 13% of the American population practically dominate liberal politics due to their ability to deliver a dependable solid 90%+ vote to the democrats, the Working Class White Males made up only about 30% of the votes cast in the Republican presidential primaries, yet they voted overwhelmingly for Trump and were the deciding factor in his wins.
Personally I'm getting sick of it all. I'm sick of all the bitching and complaining special little snowflakes out there. Get over yourselves.
Then again, I am "squeaking" about this on a blog- basically doing the opposite of what I'm preaching. Is that hypocritical?
In my opinion, America has become the land of the squeaky wheel.

Why America Can't Stop Mass Shootings...
...and why we shouldn't try.
When mass murders using firearms take place in our society, a funny thing happens. There are usually two different reactions from our society and our government. In general the conservative side tends to blame the murderer while the more liberal progressives tend to blame the gun. Conservatives express sympathy for the victims and look into the motivation of the murderer to find what may have been done to prevent the tragedy. Progressives on the other hand seem to see every tragedy as an opportunity to advance one of their core issues- gun control. Gun control, or more specifically, eroding the Second Amendment with the eventual goal of rendering it useless or destroying it all together.
Some people will say I'm paranoid in this belief. After all Obama and Hillary Clinton keep saying they don't want to destroy the Second Amendment, just put in place some simple "common sense" gun laws. Right?
OK, now on to the title of this post- Why America can't stop mass shootings.
Comparing the U.S. with any other nation in regard to guns and crime is an apples to oranges situation. We are a nation of 350 million or so people from the most diverse backgrounds of any nation in the world. We have all the world's races and religions here along with all their various cultures, values, and belief systems. This diversity has created a uniquely American culture- One that has stressed self reliance and the belief that we all have the unalienable right to defend ourselves and our families from harm. Private ownership of guns by law abiding citizens is part of the core of American culture.
In our huge diverse population, maybe one or two people a year will use a gun to kill in a spree of 3 or more people- aka a 'mass' shooting. This is exempting criminals killing other criminals or acts of terrorism which I believe should not be lumped in the 'mass shooting' category. I'm talking about a lone gunman targeting innocent people. So that's one or two people a year out of 350 MILLION. Is it practical to expect law enforcement to monitor all of us to such a degree that they could identify potential killers and intercede in these cases?
When these events do happen, we need to view them with some perspective. In today's 24/7 news culture, where we can turn on a TV and get live video from almost anywhere in the world, events such as the most recent mass murder in Orlando can seem like an every day occurrence. They're not. The media microscope magnifies these events to the point where we tend to lose track of the big picture.
Viewing the recent Orlando night club shooting with a little perspective, 49 people were killed. A major tragedy, yes, but we also need to realize that EVERY DAY across the country on average more than 38 people are murdered. They were just separate murders in different areas. Also every day 28 people are killed by drunk drivers on the roads, 1500 people die from cancer, etc., etc. I could go on and on but I hope you get the point. Tragedy is a daily fact of life, but it's only the big ones that get the press coverage.
But something must be done, right?
The government can't legislate away evil in some people, nor should we want them to try.
Imagine the type of fascist police state we would need to live in for that to happen. It would be an Orwellian nightmare.
Unfortunately it seems many in our society are all too willing to trade our freedoms and constitutional rights away for that warm and fuzzy feeling of a false sense of safety.
You can pass as many laws as you want, even ban all guns outright, but you will still never get all of them. The fact is, all current and proposed new gun laws will do is impede law abiding citizens from getting them.
It's hard to quantify because stats aren't kept on crimes that don't happen, but there is substantial evidence that private ownership of guns saves hundreds if not thousands of lives a year and untold numbers of violent crimes are thwarted due to law abiding citizens being able to use them in self defense. Remember the old saying- "When seconds count, the police are only minutes away."
As for criminals and guns, just look at places like Chicago. They have the strictest gun laws in the country, but the south and west sides are awash in gun violence committed mainly by career criminals who have no legal means of buying guns. Yet they have them. Plenty of them.
Criminals simply don't obey gun laws.
We have to face the fact that in an open and free society as large and diverse as ours we must expect that some people will commit these atrocities on occasion. They will fly under the radar of law enforcement. Friends and family will not see it coming. No matter how vigilant we are at practicing the mantra of "If you see something, say something", it WILL happen.
We can either enjoy our rights and the freedoms we have today in America or trade them in for what would surely become a brutal authoritarian society in a very short time. In my opinion we are already well on the way to that scenario now.

Ladies- Enough With The Fucking Hair Buns Already!
I feel compelled to share my thoughts on this really disturbing fashion trend among our young attractive woman- the "Bun" hair-do.
Let's face it, it's hideous. Every time I see some relatively attractive woman with her hair done up in one of these ridiculous styles I can't help think back to an episode of the old TV show "King Of Queens" where the main female character "Carrie" starts wearing her hair up in a bun and everyone, including her husband, hates it but is afraid to tell her.
I ran across this a few days ago and decided this has to stop:
You get what I'm saying here? No wonder she looks so pissed off. It looks like a dog left a steaming 3 coiler on her head:

This fad of chicks with tons of tats
I just don’t get this recent (past 5-6 years or so) fad where all these women are getting tats. Not just a tramp stamp or little butterfly on the butt, but huge pieces on their arms, legs, chest, and even up their necks.
IMO this is just out of control. To me a tattoo on a beautiful woman is like taking a Sharpie and drawing a mustache on the Mona Lisa. You’re defacing a work of art- the pristine female form.
The latest and worst twist on this fad I’m seeing more of lately is the text tats. You know, when a woman gets a phrase or whole passage from some book, poem, or song lyric she thinks is so profound and defines her in some way tattooed on her rib cage or back so you have to stop and try to “read” her.
Whenever I see a cute chick all covered in ink I wonder what she’s going to do in 20 or 30 years when her tight young skin is all loose and her tats look more like a Dali painting melting off her body and the paragraph of text no longer carries the same meaning.
I just don’t get it. Tats are forever ladies.

What Grinds My Gears- People who order way too much at the drive thru
So, I’m in line at the Taco Bell earlier tonight and there are only a couple cars ahead of me. I figure I’ll be through the line in no time.
BUT NOOOOOO! As usual there’s some asshole a couple cars ahead of me who made a huge order and is holding up the whole line.
I wait and wait. One song after another plays on the radio as my car idles wasting gas. Getting madder and madder as nothing moves. Just this asshole waiting at the window.
Then finally after about 15 minutes, I see the bags come out the window. 5 bags loaded down with his crap followed by 2 of those cardboard drink caddy boxes.
I finally get up to the window and I’m greeted by the overly cheery girl working the drive thru who asks me in a bubbly voice - “How is your day going?” I’m like, are you kidding? Just give me my food so I can go already. How can you not know how pissed I am at having to wait so long for a fucking burrito? BTW, I didn’t say that to her, was just thinking it. I did let her know I was pissed though, not that it would matter.
This seems to happen to me a lot. These inconsiderate dicks seem to be everywhere. “ Gee, we have a bunch of friends over so lets send someone out to get food. Go inside? NOOOOO, why get out of the car? Let’s just back up the drive thru like we own the place!” Fucking dicks.
But let’s not place all the blame on the customer. How about someone working the drive thru being smart enough to ask someone with a huge order to pull around and wait out front for the order so others getting only small stuff can be on their way?

“Noah” Latest Salvo In The “War On Christianity”
The Christian dominated conservative press is having a field day with the release of “Noah”. With a little hyperbole and creative molding of the truth they have made the release of this rework of the Old Testament tale into the latest attack by us sly Atheists on their faith.
Breitbart has dedicated 5 stories (basically the same thing repeated 5 times by different authors) to Noah, 4 of them in the very top headline section! I’ve also seen numerous reports on virtually all the shows on the Fox news lineup for the past week now.
Apparently it’s simply not acceptable to use a Bible story as the basis for a movie designed to ENTERTAIN and not preach. You see the writers and director of Noah chose not to follow the exact Biblical story of Noah and made a few modifications to appeal to a wider audience rather than take the Mel Gibson route and make a gritty gore porn version of how God got pissed off and decided to drown everyone on Earth except Noah and his family- and the animals of course. Blasphemy!!!!
So, it’s obviously just another salvo launched against the good God fearin’ folk by us evil Godless heathens. I’ve seen “Noah” described in various articles as “a sinister plot” and a “genius piece of (atheist) propagandizing”. Damn they’re on to us. Call a secret meeting of the Vast World Atheist Conspiracy (or VWAC for short) ruling committee immediately!
It always amazes me how much Christians seem to get torqued about stuff like this. They must not have as much faith as they think they do if they find “Noah” a threat worthy of a response like this.

Fox News’ “War On Atheists”
I’m watching Fox News right now and the continuation of their War On Atheists.
Tonight Megyn Kelly (The Kelly File) has a guy from American Atheists on regarding the stupid ruling today that a Christian Cross (a section of steel I beams that resembles a cross) pulled from the wreckage of the World Trade Center and later installed in the memorial there is allowed and does not violate the separation of Church and State.
Despite the stunningly obvious fact that this “cross” is clearly a religious shrine in a public memorial, Ms. Kelly apparently refuses to see this as a problem even when the Atheist rep points out that Jews, Muslims, and yes even Atheists also died there on 9/11, the only religion represented at the memorial is Christianity with this cross.
No surprise there. But what really gets me going is the way she’s speaking to the Atheist she has on the program. She’s treating him with such contempt and condescension it’s infuriating. She speaks down to him like he’s a child even though he’s the only one offering any common sense reasoning in the matter.
The hubris of Christians when they speak to atheists on any matter like this is maddening. Even the way these Fox anchors say the word atheist - dripping with contempt like they are saying “pedophile” or “rapist”. It’s simply disgusting.
Fox News keeps beating this drum of the media waging a “War On Christianity” while they wage this “War On Atheists”.
