Have you ever noticed that when someone has a close call and comes close to death either they or someone around them will usually say something like "I should have died that day, but God had other plans for me." , "God must have saved you for a reason.", " It's all in God's plan." or some similar bullshit.
But when someone is unfortunate enough not to step out of the way of that bus in time and gets splattered all over the pavement like a possum on the highway, nobody ever says "Damn, God must have been pissed off at that dude."
